absorbed from water & air through special structures on their leaves called trichomes. I love their quirky shapes & personalities to the point I made a business of selling them and unusual holders on Etsy
They make great “housepets”

lucky you! I have to purchase my air plants. At the moment about 200 of them most of which I am hoping to place in new homes. Cute little guys aren’t they?

BtW I enjoyed visiting your blog. A solid NWester, I just discovered Michigan last summer when I visited Traverse City for a few days. I had never been to a Great Lake before. Such an amazing area!
